Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 March 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using StudyPass. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use StudyPass.
1. Definitions
"StudyPass," "we," "us," and "our" refer to StudyPass, a product of Rolo Academy Ltd. "You" and "your" refer to the individual accessing or using the service. "Service" means the StudyPass website, web application, content, and all related features. "Pass" means any paid time-limited access plan (such as the 30-Day Pass or 90-Day Pass).
2. Service Description
StudyPass provides online citizenship test preparation tools, including practice questions, detailed explanations, progress tracking, timed mock exams, and related study features for citizenship tests in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
StudyPass is an independent educational platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency, including USCIS, the UK Home Office, IRCC (Canada), or the Australian Department of Home Affairs.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up to date. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Each account is for a single individual. You may not share your login credentials with others, and you may not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, access restrictions, or any other terms of this agreement. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being shared or misused.
4. Free and Paid Tiers
StudyPass offers a free tier with limited features and paid passes with additional features such as timed mock exams, full progress tracking, weak area focus mode, spaced repetition, and performance analytics. Current pricing and feature details are listed on our pricing page.
We reserve the right to change which features are included in the free and paid tiers at any time. Changes to feature availability do not entitle you to a refund if the core service (citizenship test preparation) remains available under your plan.
5. Promotional Offers
We may offer promotional discounts or limited-time offers at our discretion. Promotional offers are subject to additional terms specified at the time of the offer and are limited to one per person unless otherwise stated.
6. Billing and Payment
Passes are purchased as one-time payments. All prices are in US Dollars (USD). Your payment provider may apply currency conversion fees for non-USD transactions; these are not controlled by StudyPass.
By purchasing a pass, you authorise us (via our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method for the pass price. Passes do not auto-renew. When your pass expires, you revert to the free tier unless you purchase a new pass.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Price changes apply to new purchases only and do not affect passes you have already purchased.
7. Pass Expiry
Passes grant access to paid features for the duration specified at the time of purchase (for example, 30 or 90 days). When your pass expires:
- Your account will revert to the free tier.
- Your progress and scores are saved and remain accessible.
- You can purchase a new pass at any time to restore full access.
Passes are non-cancellable. Because there is no recurring billing, there is nothing to cancel. You retain access for the full duration of your pass.
8. Refund Policy
All pass purchases are non-refundable once payment has been processed, except as required by applicable consumer protection law.
- Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to immediately suspend your account and all associated data. Filing a chargeback for a legitimate charge may result in permanent account termination.
Passes do not auto-renew, so there will never be a surprise charge on your account.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or personal data.
- Copy, scrape, reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any StudyPass content, questions, explanations, or materials, whether manually or through automated means (bots, crawlers, or scripts).
- Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service or interfere with other users' access.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access controls, usage limits, or technical restrictions.
- Create accounts using false or misleading information, or create multiple accounts to exploit free tiers, trials, or promotional offers.
- Share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your account or any StudyPass content to a third party.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination, without refund.
10. Content Accuracy and No Guarantee of Results
Our questions and explanations are based on official government test materials from publicly available sources. We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that our materials reflect the most recent changes to any government test, policy, or regulation.
StudyPass is a study aid. We do not guarantee that using our service will result in passing any citizenship test or achieving any particular score. Test outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. You should always verify information with official government sources and consult official study guides.
11. Intellectual Property
All StudyPass content, design, branding, software, and related materials are the property of Rolo Academy Ltd or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Government test questions referenced in our materials are sourced from publicly available official documents.
Your account grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the service for personal, non-commercial study purposes only. This licence does not include any right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content.
12. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to: violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, abusive behaviour, non-payment, or chargeback disputes.
If we terminate your account for a violation of these Terms, you are not entitled to any refund. If we terminate your account without cause during an active pass period, we will provide a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your pass.
Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. We are not obligated to retain any of your data, progress, or account information after termination, though we may retain certain data as required by law or our internal policies.
13. Service Availability
We aim to keep StudyPass available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, server issues, or circumstances beyond our control. Downtime does not entitle you to a refund or credit unless the service is materially unavailable for an extended period (more than 7 consecutive days), in which case you may request a pro-rated credit.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StudyPass, Rolo Academy Ltd, and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, failure to pass a citizenship test, immigration application outcomes, or reliance on our content.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to StudyPass in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any content is accurate, complete, or current.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StudyPass, Rolo Academy Ltd, and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
17. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including adding or removing features, content, or supported countries. If we discontinue the entire service, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and offer a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of any active pass.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by placing a prominent notice on the website at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the service.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of at least 30 days.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and StudyPass regarding your use of the service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
